Tonisity is delighted to announce that our recovery isotonic drink for dogs has won the prize for Pet Care Products at PATS Telford 2021 New Product Awards. DoggyRade Pro fought off stiff competition from a record number of more than 300 new products entered.

The judges agreed that the New Product Showcase had produced a high calibre of entries with a tremendous amount of innovation. They were pleased to see such a wide range of products and felt the majority of items on display showed great innovation. Their decisions took into account a number of guideline criteria, such as product innovation, design, quality, packaging, value for money and sustainability. Upon awarding DoggyRade Pro, the Pet Care Products award the judges said: “This isotonic rehydration drink is a good price and help dogs recover from tummy trouble.”

DoggyRade Pro is an isotonic rehydration drink for dogs, originally formulated for use exclusively in veterinary patients which is now available to the consumer market, for the home treatment of acute gastrointestinal illnesses, including vomiting or diarrhea and to aide recovery from veterinary procedures in the home. Containing easily absorbable carbohydrates, the aromatic chicken smell entices dogs to drink even when they are unwell or out of sorts.

DoggyRade Pro contains amino acids, prebiotics and balanced electrolytes, to facilitate the replacement of those lost due to illness. The specially designed targeted-feeding approach of DoggyRade Pro helps to maintain the integrity of the lining of the intestine and support gut health. Low in calories and fat, DoggyRade Pro is easy on your dog’s stomach, helps prevent dehydration, improves intestinal nutrient absorption and caters for all dogs recovering from illness. DoggyRade Pro is very appetising and ready for the dog to consume directly from the bowl even with mild nausea.

The ready-to-drink format means there is no further mixing or dilution required. It is best given to your dog at room temperature or slightly warmed, around 30°C. DoggyRade Pro should be given at 1ml / kg / hour, usually given every four hours on the first day.

This is the second prize that Tonisity picked up for their new range of isotonic drinks for pets, following KittyRade’s win at the Pet Innovation Awards earlier in September, as the brand picked up the Cat Food Functional Diet Product of the Year.
